I had the privilege to shoot the College of Medicine Commencement Ceremony this year. Below are a select few of the photos I shot on that special occasion.
Congratulations to the University of Florida College of Medicine Class of 2009!

Sherita's Graduation Portraits
Here is a sample from Sherita's graduation portrait collection. It was a rainy week, and the skies took a break from pouring just enough for us to get some shots done in front of the alligator landmarks around campus.
Congratulations on graduating Dr. Sherita Holmes. I wish you all the best in Chicago and all your future endeavors!
Portraits were shot on location around The University of Florida campus on May 14, 2009.

Alex/Dr. Evil Graduates
"It's Dr. Evil, I didn't spend six years in Evil Medical School to be called "mister," thank you very much."
For Alex I think it was four years of Evil Medical School.
Congratulations Aleixo! Good luck with the start of your new career at J&J. Just make sure - I receive 15% of gross revenue from patented original ideas, because your original ideas are really my original ideas.
Dr. Evil: Oh hell, let's just do what we always do. Hijack some nuclear weapons and hold the world hostage. Yeah? Good! Gentlemen, it has come to my attention that a breakaway Russian Republic called Kreplachistan will be transferring a nuclear warhead to the United Nations in a few days. Here's the plan. We get the warhead and we hold the world ransom for... ONE MILLION DOLLARS!
Number Two: Don't you think we should ask for *more* than a million dollars? A million dollars isn't exactly a lot of money these days. Virtucon alone makes over 9 billion dollars a year!
Dr. Evil: Really? That's a lot of money.
[pause]
Dr. Evil: Okay then, we hold the world ransom for...
Dr. Evil: One... Hundred... BILLION DOLLARS!
Portraits were shot on location at The University of Florida Campus in Gainesville, FL on May 1st 2009. Yep that's my birthday. Thanks for getting me to shoot YOUR portraits on MY birthday Alex. Seriously.

More To Come
Graduation season this year was a lot more hectic than last year to say the least! I've been busy trying to catch up with the photo processing workload. I have a few more shoots to finish editing. I will work to post some of those photos this week.
I'm pretty excited about the next couple of weeks as well. Still have Med school graduation coming up this weekend and the Vet school graduation the following weekend and all the parties that come along with that. Then I have the rest of the summer to learn, as well as accumulate more gear. So keep posted. I'll have more for you in the coming few days!
